I grew up in Eagle Lake from 1974 to 1992. In 1992 I moved into Mankato to attend college at Mankato State University where I graduated with a degree in Corporate Finance and a minor in Business Administration.

After working in the bar/restaurant business for 6 years, I started selling Real Estate in February of 1998. Since then, I have started my own Real Estate company with my father Jim Beal. JBeal Homes was established in April of 2002. During 2002, JBeal Homes agents sold over $4.5 million in Real Estate. Prior to creating JBeal Homes, Inc., I worked with over a hundred and fifty clients helping them with all of their Real Estate needs.

I have extensive knowledge in Management, Accounting, Finance, and Construction. I have also remodeled homes and assisted in building homes from start to finish.

I am originally from Pipestone, MN and have lived in Eagle Lake, MN for over 30 years. My wife Deb and I have been married for 38 years. We have three grown children, James, Jason and Sara, all living in or not far from Mankato.

I am a Navy veteran, member of the Eagle Lake American Legion and past Mayor of the City of Eagle Lake. I also serve on various city committees and am a past member of the Region 9 Commission. My hobbies include golfing, boating, biking and family get-togethers.

I am originally from North Mankato but have lived in Madelia since 1969. My wife Deidre and I have four sons. I am a volunteer fire fighter and have served on the city council in Madelia.

In my spare time, activities with my family keep me busy. We like to go boating, water skiing, traveling and getting together with friends. I have been a licensed realtor since 2001. Prior to that I worked for 14 years as a home appraiser for Blue Earth County. I have also worked as a carpenter and have built and sold several spec homes.

I have lived in the Mankato, North Mankato area for the past 19 years. I grew up in Vermont and moved to this area in 1990 with my husband Troy, who coaches men's hockey for Minnesota State University. We have two boys Ryan and Tyler who are very active in both school and sports.

My prior work experience includes: substitute teaching; production planning for Litton Industries; floor plan financing for Bombardier Capital, Inc.; and 12 years working for Taylor Corporation in the acquisitions area. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Real Estate Salesperson license. As A Realtor, I have earned the following designations: GRI - Graduate of Realtors Institute; and ABR - Accreditated Buyer Representative.

My past experiences have been 13 years on the local fire department. Five years of that time was spent as fire chief and 10 years on the rescue squad. I also spent eight years as a councilman on the city council board. Since 1987 I have served on the board of directors at Community Bank. My wife and I owned and operated a building center for 18 years and in this time, we have built and sold spec homes. My hobbies include, golf, golf, or golf. We also do enjoy traveling.
